Characteristics and Purposes

• PTFE-0121A is a very fine micronized PTFE wax. It can be used for painting and ink application that provides good gloss control, and smoothness (slip) of the product.
• PTFE-0121A can be used for engineering plastics such as PC, PA, PPS, POM, etc. It can significantly improve the abrasion resistance, and the friction and viscosity sliding properties of the prepared parts.
• It is also can be used for rubber. It can improve the host polymer abrasion resistance, and mold release properties.
• In lubricating greases, PTFE-0121A can be used as a solid lubricant that provides good color, and good lubricating effect of the product. Good stability can be obtained after a high-speed dispersion or grinding process.

Content and Method of Use

• In different systems, the additional amount of the wax powder is generally between 0.5 to 3%.
• Usually by way of a direct high-speed stirring, it dispersed in solvent-based coatings and printing inks.
• Through a variety of grinding machines and high-shear dispersing device is added, use the mill to grind, to pay attention, and to control the temperature.
• Pre-dispersing treatment can be performed to prepare a concentration of 20-30% wax slurry, when needed to add into the system, thus reducing the time of wax dispersion.
• In engineering plastics and rubber, the additional amount is between 5% -25%.
• In lubricating greases, the additional amount is between 5% -25%.
• This product is compliance with new regulation of PFOA free rules (<25ppb).

• This product is non-dangerous goods. Please store it away from ignition sources and strong oxidants.
• Do not smoke while operating the micronized PTFE, avoiding the cigarette burns into micronized PTFE wax for it can produce some toxic gases.
