Retroreflector prism consists of three mutually perpendicular reflecting surfaces that form an angular cone structure with an internal angle of 90 degrees. When light is incident on any of the reflecting surfaces, it undergoes three reflections and eventually leaves the prism in a direction almost exactly opposite to that of the incident light. This triple reflection ensures that the direction of the reflected light is highly aligned with the direction of the incident light, enabling accurate retroreflection of the light, even if the angle of incidence changes.
