The hexagonal outer wire is one more hexagonal circle than the double-ended outer wire. Its function is the same as that of the double-ended outer wire. Both steel pipes can be connected together by threads. This hexagonal circle can be easily installed and locked with a wrench. The outer wire can only be locked by pipe pliers; the variable-diameter hexagonal double-ended outer wire has a wider range of use and can connect two pipes of different diameters together.
